He also has Advanced medical curses like Advanced Trauma Life Support, Course in injuries caused  by firearms and ballistics, Advanced Training in Laparoscopic Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery, Advanced training in bariatric and metabolic surgery (Spain council of metabolicand obesity disease, Management  of urgencies and complications in bariatric surgery and more.

He has also participated in several National Congresses of Endoscopic Surgery,  National Congress for  surgical  Multidisciplinary Management of Type 2 Diabetes, Mexican obesity and metabolic council. He is a board certified surgeon by the Mexican Council of General Surgery.
